TeX Consulting and Programming
TeX—pronounced “Tech” with a german ch like in Technik because the logo actually uses the greek uppercase letters Tau, Epsilon and Chi—is a powerful typesetting software developed by Donald Kunth in the 1980s. Originally intended for typesetting math books with lots of equations, it has become a versatile tool over the course of years. Especially the enhancement LaTeX by Leslie Lamport is a powerful and flexible software to layout and typeset texts.
I claim that TeX can do anything and I would be happy to proof it: Whether you would like to edit math or science books with complex equations and illustrations or a humanistic work including challenges such as glossaries, extensive bibliographies or an index; even bilingual translations with parallel texts and many footnotes—I offer my support for your first or advanced steps into the world of TeX. In addition to that, I would be happy to develop a template or a package/class for your individual tasks or take care of the complete typesetting of your text and the final PDF version for printing purposes.
Consulting and Training
Besides an individual guidance for your project, I offer trainings for groups. The content will always be suited to your personal needs. As a teacher I do not only offer substantiated and purposeful classes but also methodically prepared seminars. From 2011 to 2014 I held a tutorial on TeX at the Physics Department of the University of Osnabrück.
